lady_gertie02 replied: "I haven't seen an Eeyore theme, but there are some great free themes on the Windows Marketplace website. When you go to the site, just type Desktop Themes in the searchbox. They are free, and have many to choose from. Some of them are no longer available, but there are plenty that are. Most of them say they are for XP or older, but I have Vista and have downloaded quite a few. They all work. I download them into my Download Folder (in your personal folder). Some of them have to be unzipped first."

matthew h replied: "This is quite a common one, as many people prefer vistas look over vista. Fortunately for you, there is a very easy, risk free way to achieve the slimline look of vista. Simply copy the following URL into your internet browsers address bar: It's actually a french website, but rest assured that once it is downloaded and installed, it will make your computer look almost identical to vista, (to the untrained eye of course.) just look for the download link on the page above, make a cup of coffee while it downloads, set up the program, ( it will ask you some questions first about exactly what parts of the software you want installed), restart your pc, and hey presto! you will have the vista theme and even all the Little sounds. Please note that it will still be XP you are using, and therefore you won't be able to have the "aero" glass effect, however the software does a good job of simulating this. if you have any more questions, or need help setting up the software, don't hesitate to send me a message, I'll be on hand to email you instruction etc. Best of luck matey :)"

want to change the look of vista, any themes for it? wanna change the look of vista, any themes for it? pref. free, i know about windowsblinds but you have to buy it which i dont wanna do. is there a way of getting these effects but for free? Ive got Vista home prem. 32bit. got a few things for it such as a rotating picture in the startup programs window and animated desktop like whats on Vista Ultimate. Not keen on docks etc.. ive shut the sidebar down as i dont use it.
